I have just realized that i have not updated the blog for such a long time (i.e. almost for a year). Gosh. Time flies so fast, and i am about to finish my undergraduate studies in few days time subject to achieving satisfactorily results. I will know the results on Friday, 12th December 2009. Hope it goes well.

V Gama Reunion

Last tuesday, i had a V Gama reunion at Aainaa's house for the first time after 3 years we had left school.It went well though not all people turned up.Anyway,the important is that i had fun that i got the chance to meet up the old friends.Some have changed all alot and some still the same.
The food was alot and we had to take away some food home-bbq chicken and lamb,fried mee hoon,mashed potato ,tembikai susu,water melon,cakes etc

Hope there will be another reunion after this.
I shall wait patiently for it!

textbooks

Today, i went to buy 2 textbooks at a bookstore in Bandar Sunway.
This was my first time i bought the books there as the telephone number of the shop was given by someone in HELP Uni College.
I didn't know that they sell college textbooks there and, they are sell much cheaper there.
It's called U-Text Bookstore , i think..
Imagine one of the books i bought cost only RM95 while it is sell AUD$130..so much difference.
I should have bought the previous textbooks there.but i didn't know.
For those who are thinking to buy new textbooks ,i can give the contact details if you all want.
In fact ,they provide service to courier the textbooks if we are in overseas.
That's so convenience...

was waiting anxiously for the results last friday at 3am.
then a friend of mine sent a message in msn saying that the results had been released.
my results were so bad.
like so damn low
However,thank god! i passed all the papers.
Syukur,Alhamudullillah!!
but still the results were not getting better as it is getting worsen.
and i think back that i wasnt that serious in terms of studying during the recent semester.
must change my study pattern for next semester onwards..

It has been a long time since the last time i updated the blog.I have not blogged ever since i arrive in Melbourne though i have been here for more than 2 months.What can i say about Melbourne?Melbourne is definitely a different place where i come from.sometimes people here are little bit weird here.but most important of all,they choose what they think are best for them and enjoy in what are they doing now."Live life to the fullest".Food is pretty expensive here and it's cheaper to eat at home rather than eating outside.It's ok to eat outside once in awhile.The weather is a getting colder here but it can be so unpredictable .It can so hot while i can change to cold(especially the wind).No wonder they claim that Melbourne can have 4 seasons in one day.To be in the safe side,i always bring the a cardigan/sweater to uni. (sometimes i lazy to bring and i have to suffer with the weather).The Melb uni is comparatively larger than the previous institutions i hv expericenced before in Msia.like so much times larger than HELP. but i think i had a culture shock when at the beginning of the sem where each week i learned new things for the lectures and worst of all i can't cope with it.eg it is already week 7 and i'm like 4 weeks behind.It takes some times to adapt the culture here but i'm getting used to it now.

i went to One Utama for the fairwell yesterday.It was organized by my lovely friends ,Kristen and Sheeba(unfortunately she couldnt make it).Thank you so much for the lovely new supplies.i really appreciate it.Will make full use of it.There was 10 of us attended the occasion which were Phillipe & Carolyn, Kev & Mon, DEnise & Jason, Lionel,me,Kristen,Jeffrey and faiz.3 of the 10(including me) watched the movie called the "Epic Movie".I found that the movie was a bit over with the jokes were lame and not funny at all.May be they tried too hard to squeeze all the movies in one film.I would certainly prefer "Date Movie" and "Scary movie" than this movie.Then ,we went to Kluang Station to hv a kinda yam cha session(not sure whether can be considered yam cha or not).We were talking and sharing experiences abt the preparation etc.Thank you u all for coming yesterday!!DO keep in touch &dont forget me,ok!!

Felt so good today

What a noble thing i did today.i felt Ms jana will be proud to us for we hv done today.As you all hv known that today is Ms. Jana's Memorial day.It is organised by HUC at KA-A1 level 4 at KPD Block A at 4.30pm.Me,denise ,faiz and a lecturemate of mine from Biz law lecture sem 2 2006 gave a funeral speech to commerate the loss of Ms Jana.i was the last person to gave the speech and i screwed it up at the first part of the speech.Instead of "good evening" i said "good morning".eventually , it went smoothly after tht.Meet kev and Mon,Jason, Lim thing yi( sorry if wrong spelling) and 2 of maldivian freinds.Had some refreshment after that which consisted curry puff, sandwishes, 'kuih-muih' ,coffee,tea and etc.there will be an outing tmr at one U...can twait for tmr..

My parents had been discharged from hospital.January should be called a hospital month.What a great relief !
My student visa has been granted last thursday. I need to make a copy of the document in case of they will check my visa upon arrival there.
Accomodation has been settled.i will be staying in College Square,Lygon Street.It is around 10 mins walking from the uni.

Can't wait to arrive there.Nervous for this monday which i hv to give a funeral speech(1-2 mins)in memory of Ms Jana.Hope i willl be good!!!

The last medical checkup

I went to the checkup in Kump Medic Clinic,Damansara Utama this morning.It started with the urine test and followed by vision test.Everything went smoothly but not until the next test started.The doctor was friendly and i thought he's not going to check my "ding dong". Eventually, he did when he took a peek at it for few seconds.I'm kinda felt ashamed but i didn't really bother because he was a male doctor.If it is a female doctor , tht will be different story .haha.Then, he told me tht i have swollen tonsil .Luckily,it is not serious as it wont affect my visa application.If it is getting worsen, it has to be removed by operation.In order to prevent tht to happen, i need to eat less oily and spicy food and consume more fruits as well as water.Hope it doesn't reach at critical condition!

What a relief!

Today is the most relief day as i have just received the electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eC0E) from the university this morning.So,what i can say now is tht i'm 100% guaranteed tht i can enter the university which is one of the top unis in Australia.this is what i've been waiting all this while and i manage to achieve it.Syukur,Alhamdulillah! Right after i received the eCoE , i proceed with visa application via online.Even though the application was convenience and easy,the questions were somewhat tricky.May be my nerves made my concentration distracted.the thrill i guess.haha.Thanks to Ken (Cyberlynx)who helps me a lot all this while for the Melb uni application.May be my patience really paid me off.
Then i went to Damansara Medical Center to do the X-Ray check up.I was surprised of how few of people were there.So,i think it's my day afterall.It was a quick check up and the fee was quite reasonable.Tomorrow morning,i will be going to Kump Medic Utama to do the medical check up.
Hope it turns ,ok!

Insufficient funds

I was suprised to receive an email from a representative from Melbourne University regarding the acceptance form.According to them,the credit card has come out with insufficient funds.How could this incident is happening now?They should hv informed me earlier.Now,it delays everything from eCoE,visa application,medical checkup and so forth.I should hv checked the inbox this morning and it can settle this problem by this evening.It's too late already.Really hope it can settle by tomorrow or on Friday.Or else i hv to make a bank draft or the Telegrapic Transfer(TT) to the university which it will take times for them to receive the payment.Why everything is happening in the last minute?

The late Ms Jana

I was shocked to hear the news that Ms Jana passed away.At first,i thought it was a joke made by someone who doesnt like her.But i was wrong tht it is true tht she died.Juliane was the 1st one who told me the news(around 9.04pm) before Ahmed.THen i verified the news with Denise and Lionel.I couldnt believe it tht she died unexpectedly.There were many speculations but the actual news was quite close to the speculations.It is believe that she went to water rafting in Kuala Kubu,Kuala Selangor but her legs stuck with one of the rocks when the raft capsized.She drowned.The incident happened last saturday.I'm so sorry to hear the news especially to Ms Jana's family.I went to the funeral with Ko Sheng,Tze Teng and Darol and met some other students or lecturers or HElP staff there.i always remembered when she said "act of god" when she teached us the topic of negligence.Not because of her, i would hv lost interest in Law.She was a great and entertaining Business Law lecturer especially the juicy news she always talks in the lecture and yet,she will remain in my thought as long as i live.

The unexpected guests

i received a surprised sms from Mon last night.She said she is coming to my house this morning.i thought she wants to go to One U or important stuff she needs to settle in TTDI.So the day has come.I saw kev hid behind the gate so tht i didnt notice u.Guess what i saw u.hahah.Mon and Kev came to my house for a visit.I'm so sorry i didnt prepare any drinks or sth.Though it was a short session,it is really thoughtful of u all to come for a visit.Hope we will hv a long yam cha session with u all soon,ok!Dont forget me,ok!

Today,i attended to my 2nd brother's engagement ceremony in Triang,Pahang.One step left before the wedding will be held.Can't wait for that.2 important weddings for this year.We left from the house early in the morning and managed t0 arrive there before the noon.There were 7 of us tht included my mom,pak&mak lang,kak nim,my 1st and 2nd brother as well as me.It was about approximately 2 1/2 hours journey from KL and it passed through Taman Negara(Natonal Forest) and Tasik Bera (one of the biggest man-made lakes in the country).The food was delicious and we were greeted warmly from the other sides. Hope everything will turn excellent this year,ok!

I woke up close to 9.00am (i set the alarm at 8.00am but i put the snoze mode on my handphone).i thought i was late but luckily i didn't .In the morning, i went to Cyberlynx to collect the original package from Melb uni.I found that the letter had been mailed to Msia since 13.10.06 and i just collected it today.It's like 3 months delay.haha.Hope i will receive a reply from the uni so that i can proceed with the visa and the medical checkup.The letter contains all the relevant steps after receiving an unconditional offer such as acceptance form(done as i printed from the website..wasted the printer ink only), housing guide,tuition fees and etc.
After tht, i joined my friends Ko Sheng and Pik Mun for a birthday lunch for Juliane.Happy birthday Juliane!Sweet 20.Hope you will have a great one,ok!Don't forget us when you leaving to Adelaide,Australia next month.Kristen wasn't there because she had no car and so, i signed on behalf of her for the bday card.ahaha
We had lunch at Ali Maju Bistro,PBD(for me branch).Juliane had this present of 4 japanese anime characters (if i'm not mistaken from Tsubasa sorry if wrong spelling) and hope she will love it!Bring that doll(if it is called tht) to Aussie ,ok! so u will remember us while you are there.haha.then we went to uq center to accompany ko sheng to give a letter to the intended person.around 1pm we went back...haha..again Happy birthday,Juliane!
